She married Noble Fee but the marriage was later annuled. They had one so n.

Grace's parents were one of the orginial pioneer families - her father Richard was a miner working at Wellington, Extension etc. who came to the Island with his parents (Simon & Deliah), and his brothers. Grace's mother came to the Island with her parents(John& Sarah) when she was an infant.

Grace grew up at "Ivey's Green" her parents owned some of the land in the area, and locals referred to the area as "Ivey's Green." Years later the land was turned into a provincal park, and was named Ivy's Green. The family for many years tried to have the spelling changed, but the provinical government would not change the spelling. (In the BC book of names - reference is made that it was named after Richard & Ellen Ivey the first postmasters in the area).

marker does not show her married name. Buried with her parents, and other siblings. Her brother Richard Ivey Jr name is on the headstone, however, he is buried in the plot beside them.

The concrete marker IVEY does not belong on this plot. This was the marker that belongs on her grandparents Simon HolmanIvey & Deliah Bridget(Murphy)Ivey. The town of Ladysmith changed many of the original markers - this plot originally had a home made marker, and when Simon & Deliah's plot is now without a marker.
