Surviving is her mother, Mrs. Bessie Wells of Minden; five sisters, Mrs. Gladys Starr and Mrs. Rowena Resmussen, both of Minden, Mrs. Muriel Harbert of Moorefield, Neb., Mrs. Dorothy Campeau of Memphis, Tenn., and Mrs. Wilma Childress of Big Bear, Calif.; and other relatives. She was preceeded in death by her husband, Bill Mercer, who died Feb. 15, 1979.
Services were conducted Saturday afternoon, April 11, with the Rev. James Stewart, minister of the United Presbyterian Church officiating. Active bearers were Frank Turner, Stanley Jennings, Arthur Martin, Gary Lee, Richard Martinez and Kenneth Schlientz. Interment was in the family plot in Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery.
