Loma Linda Robert William Airey, 90, resident of Loma Linda 11 years, died Monday in Loma Linda. He was a resident of 519 Steward St and was a native of Pennsylvania.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs Hattie M Airey of Loma Linda; two daughters, Mrs Adlai A (Florence) Esteb of Tacoma Park, Washington DC and Mrs Elmer R (Elizabeth) Wells of Angwin California, two sons, Robert W Airey Jr of Plentywood Montana and Dr. Wilfred J Airey of La Sierra California, 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Prof. Airey became associated with educational work of the Seventh-day Adventist Church about 1896 and continued until his retirement in 1925.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2pm at Emmerson's Little Chapel of the Palms, Redlands, with Elder Fred B. Jensen, pastor of the Riverside Seventh-day Adventist Church officiating. Burial will be in Montecito Memorial Park.
