Jack E. Pickrel, 76 of Roseville, IL passed away Wednesday March 28, 2012, 12:15 am at Marigold Rehab and Health Care Center Galesburg, IL. He was born May 23 1935 in London Mills, IL the son of Lester and Ferol Blout Pickrel. He married Jacqueline Keefauver on June 6, 1956 and later married Janet Jones on July 6, 1984 in Roseville, IL. He is survived by his wife Janet of Roseville, IL; one son Marty (Paula) Pickrel of Lewistown, IL; two step-daughters Mrs. John (Dawn) Casteel of Roseville, IL and Mrs. Robert (Dana) Harding of Dubuque, IA; 3 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren 2 step great grandchildren; one sister Irene (Duane) Rathbun of Harrisburg, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister. He retired from Sours Grain in July 2000; He enjoyed horses and mushrooming and especially enjoyed his grandchildren.
Funeral service will be Saturday March 31, 2012, 10:30 am at the Corman Memorial Home Roseville, IL. Family will receive friends on Friday eve March 30, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Corman's in Roseville, IL. Burial will be in the East Midway Cemetery, London Mills, IL.
