Raymond W. Beam Jr. of West Chester

Raymond W. Beam, Jr., 61, of West Chester, died Tuesday March 13, 2012 at his home.

Born in West Chester, he was the son of Raymond W. Beam, Sr. of West Chester and the late Dorothy Adams Beam.

Ray worked as a chemical tech for Arco Chemical. In 1969 he graduated from Henderson High School. He enjoyed woodworking, making furniture and fishing. Ray also loved history and working with computers.

In addition to his father he is survived by his brother, David Beam of Prague, Czech Republic and sister, Carol Stevenson and her husband Al of West Chester. Also, he is survived by four nieces and four nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial Service at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 31, at the Willistown United Methodist Church, 6051 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square.

Interment is private.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association , 150 Monument Road, Suite 100, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004.
