Freddie is preceded by his parents, Hazel and Fred Adams; his sister Wanda Dean Adams and brother Jackie Adams.

Freddie married Clara Essary of Niangua, Missouri, May 19, 1963. They lived in Springfield until 1976 when they moved to their farm in Willard. Freddie worked for Associated Wholesale Grocers for 25 years and was a member of the Springfield Bass Club. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish, go camping, and spend time with his grandchildren.

Freddie is survived by his wife Clara, their three children, Larry Adams and wife Vickie, Walnut Grove, MO, Mike Adams and wife Dawn, Springfield, MO, and Tanya Gammill Willard, MO; one son in-law; Kevin Gammill; five grandchildren, Danielle and Murray Moss, Cannon Gammill, McKenzie Gammill, Mason Gammill, and Lauren Adams; two brothers, Wayne and Ted Adams.
