Little Ruth Jewell Abbott, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Abbott, died Monday morning, Sept. 11th, at 4:45 A. M., at the age of two months and fourteen days. The little one was laid to rest that afternoon, in the Summitt cemetery near Yorktown, funeral services being held at the home on West Water Street, Ciarinda, at two o'clock Monday afternoon. It was indeed sad to lose the precious darling. A twin sister is still living, besides a sister two years of age named Pearl, and a little brother five years old named Gordon. The funeral services at the residence were conducted by the Methodist pastor, Rev. Abram S. Woodard.
