God brought home one of his angels on September 27, 2011…Micah Nicole Applin aged 26 left this life and passed on to the next. Micah was born January 29, 1985 on a Tuesday in Andrews, TX, the daughter of Carl and Kathy Applin. Tuesday's Child is full of Grace… perfect words for Micah Nicole.
She was a 2003 Graduate from Ruidoso High School with Honors, a member of the National Honor Society, a Cheerleader at Capitan High School, and a member of the FFA there.
Micah attended College of the Mainland, Galveston, TX. She loved working with horses and being with her family and friends. She was a member of the First Nazarene Church. She was known affectionately by her family as "Our Yellow Rose of Texas". She will always be that beautiful yellow rose.

From the day she first drew breath, until the last breath that she drew, she filled everyone she met with a wonderful sense of joy, light, energy, love… She grew into a beautiful young woman… both on the inside and out.

She is predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Doyle and Joyce Glover, her paternal grandparents, Marvin and Elaine Applin, and her Aunt Betty Cavett.

She is survived by her parents, her brother Josh Applin and her sister, Micala Applin; her aunts and uncles, Deborah and Larry Jaimes, Barbara and Emory Russel, Marie and Larry Pruit and Marvin and Dianna Applin; her sister by choice, Lindsey Seales and several cousins.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by McNett Funeral Home in Andrews, TX. The funeral will be held 4:00PM Saturday, October 1, 2011 at the funeral home chapel, with graveside services to follow at Andrews West Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home in Andrews.
