Marjorie Zella Miller, 81, of Decatur, Alabama, formerly of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away Thursday, March 8, 2012, at Decatur General Hospital.

She was born August 20, 1930, in Saginaw to Charles William Stork and Irene Augusta (Smith) Stork. She was a lifelong Lutheran and a former member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church (10th and Lapeer) and Faith Lutheran Church. She was a 1948 graduate of Saginaw High School. She and William Frederick Miller were married on January 24, 1953, in Saginaw and resided in Saginaw Township until June of 1974, when they were transferred with Saginaw Steering Gear to Decatur, Alabama. They made their home in Decatur and continued to live there after they retired.

She is preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth (Donald) Krueger and Mildred (George) Hayes; and an infant brother.

In addition to her husband of 59 years, she is survived by two daughters, Cindy Lou Kelly (Jeffrey) of Decatur, Alabama, and Lori Sue Cabaniss (Wyman) of Montgomery, Alabama; two grandchildren, Dr. Wyman William Cabaniss of Greenville, North Carolina and Carrie Sue Cabaniss of Auburn, Alabama; two nephews, Kurt Krueger of Freeland and William Hayes of Orlando, Florida; one niece, Lynn Ware, of Kissimmee, Florida.

A committal service will be officiated by Rev. Michael Hahn on Wednesday, March 14, 2012, at 3:00 p.m., at Reitz-Herzberg Funeral Home, 1550 Midland Road, Saginaw, Michigan. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be in Oakwood Mausoleum. Those desiring to make an expression of sympathy may wish to consider Faith Lutheran Church in Saginaw.
