Francis Caleb was part of a large family from Rescue,he worked various jobs for the Rising Star Mining Co. and went on to become a Teamster For the Forni Family Driving double wagons drawn by 8 to 10 horses,his route was picking up grain in Rancho Murieta and bringing it back to the warehouses on the Forni Ranch,during the winter of 1918 there was a large Flu epidemic throughout the county,he fell ill and passed away leaving behind his wife Lillie A Smith Coval and 4 small children.
