She was placed in the custody of the Department of Social and Health Services. Four days later, on August 12, there was a DSHS outing to the Seattle Center. Patricia ran away while on the outing and has never been seen or heard from again. Due to the fact that she disappeared from Seattle, she is believed to be a Green River Killer victim. Patricia continues disappeared to this day.
