Born in either Russia or Poland. Immigrated to America in 1883. In Holyoke, Massachusetts in the 1900, 1910, and 1920 census. Married Anna Wocieczonka in Holyoke, MA on 25 June 1892. George and Anna had four children: Antonia, Mary, John, and Elizabeth. Anna died on 9 May 1909 in Holyoke, MA and is buried in Notre Dame Cemetery in South Hadley Falls, Massachusetts. It is believed that George moved to New Jersey after 1920 to be near his daughters, Mary and Antonia, who had married and relocated.
