Private First Class Ronald Michael Kenny was a casualty of the Vietnam War. As a member of the Army, PFC Kenny served our country until February 19th, 1966 in South Vietnam. He was 18 years old and was not married. It was reported that Ronald died from undetermined causes. His body was recovered. Ronald was born on March 14th, 1947 in Mount Airy, Maryland. PFC Kenny is on panel 05E, line 051 of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. He served our country for less than a year.

Ronald M. Kenny, 18, a 1965 graduate of Robert Moton High School, was killed in action in Vietnam Feb. 19, 1966. He had entered the Army following graduation and had been stationed in Vietnam since November 1965. Military funeral rites were conducted for Kenny in Warren Methodist Church, Parrsville, near Ridgeville, Maryland. He was a Son of Mr Charles and Mrs Madeline Kenny. An Army detail from Fort Detrick provided full military honors for Kenny, who was buried in Baltimore National Cemetery, Baltimore, Maryland.
He served with Charlies Company, 1st Battalion, 5th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division, USARV.
He was awarded The Combat Infantryman's Badge(CIB), The Purple Heart Medal for his combat related wounds, The Vietnam Service Medal, The Republic of Vietnam Campaign Service Medal, The National Defense Service Medal.
