services for Karl Edward Ritterbusch, 68, of Edmond, Okla. were at 10:30 a.m.
Monday, October, 25, 1999, at Davis Funeral Chapel in Guthrie, Okla. Services
were officiated by Pastor Randy Dirrim under the direction of Davis Funeral
Home in Guthrie. Burial was at Summit View Cemetery in Guthrie. Karl was born
Jan. 5, 1931, in Guthrie, to Karl O. and Burness (Ketch) Ritterbusch. He died
Friday, Oct. 22, 1999, at his home in Edmond. Karl had lived in the Guthrie
area all of his life. He retired in 1993 as Maintenance Superintendent for the
University of Central Oklahoma. He was a veteran of the United States Army, a
member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 4578, and the National Rifle
Association. He married Rosalie Phillips. She preceded him in death July 11,
1968. He married Opal Mae Driskell. She preceded him in death March 3, 1993.
He was also preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Marjory Ridens.
He is survived by one daughter, Carrie Jo Taft, and husband Danny, of Guthrie;
three step-children, Lynn Driskell, and wife Carol, of Enid, Okla., Vonda
Rains and husband Gene, of Guthrie, Connie Adkins and husband Kirby, of
Burleson, Texas; one sister, Anabel Dodson, of Guthrie; two grandchildren,
Theresa and Joshua Taft, of Guthrie; and nine step-grandchildren, Dana, Angie,
Donnie, Christy, Terry, J.R., Mark, Heidi and Heather.
