Bob Healer, 40, of 1611 Seventh Street, was dead on arrival at Brownwood Community Hospital about 1 a.m. today. He had been ill three days.
Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Davis-Morris Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenleaf Cemetery with Rev. F. E. Healer of Sweetwater officiating.
Born Jan. 2, 1930 in Roby, he was a member of the Baptist church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was disabled and had served in World War II in the Army Air Corps. He moved here from Midland nine years ago and married Ruth Smith at Sweetwater on December 26, 1957.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Catherine Elaine Healer of Brownwood; a son, Michael Healer of Brownwood; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Healer of Brownwood; and a sister, Mrs. Ray (Evelyn) Madderra of Brownwood.
