She was born July 29, 1931, in Jackson, a daughter of Elton N. and Pearl (GIFFORD) BAKER. Her early life was spent in Jackson and Coldwater, then she moved from Michigan Center to Leonidas and resided at her present address for 10 years.
On Sept. 23, 1950, she married Thomas L. WAGNER in Coldwater.
A homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family and outdoor activities such as hunting and fishing, she also was employed at Western Stamping in Jackson and at Meijers in Columbus, Ohio.
She had attended the Colon Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband; three children, Mrs. Kenneth (Kathleen A.) WARE of Everett, Wash., Randall E. WAGNER of Leonidas, and Michael and Theressa WAGNER-KULLIK of Grand Rapids; two grandchildren, Rebecca and Thomas WARE; one brother, Nathan BAKER of Hudson, Fla.; one sister, Donna LASKY of Cherry Beach, Mich.; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Relatives and friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Schipper Funeral Home Ltd. of Colon, where services are at 1 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Robert N. Baxter of the Colon Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Colon.
Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
