Addison is the son of Nathan BAKER Jr. 1793 - 1862, brother of Nathan C. BAKER (1830 - ?) father of Nathan A. BAKER (1843 - 1934) and Helen C. BAKER SNELL WOOD (1851 - 1901) Grand father of Addison Elton (Eltie) BAKER (1866-1938), Lily MOYN BAKER SEBBEN (1872-1960) and Jos J. and Millie WOOD. Jos and Millie where born after his death. Addison's wife, was his first cousin, Charlotte BAKER (1820 - 1892) Laura SHATTUCK (1840 - 1918) and Sarah ROSZELL (1855 - 1926) are both daughters of his sister, Angeline "Angelina" BAKER (1817 - 1892) who married Joseph Beckwith SHATTUCK (1815 - 1875) Addison has often been mixed up with Nathan Baker. Addison is the person with the white Arabian horse on his grave at Riverside Cemetery, Denver, CO; picture can be viewed at their web site, also, three pictures of Addison can be found on the Denver Library web site. The stable belonging to Mr. Addison Baker was entered by horse thieves on Sunday night, and a very valuable horse stolen. The animal was branded with a letter "R" on the left shoulder. Mr. Baker has offered a reward of $50 for the horse, $100 for the horse and thief, and $200 for the dead body of the thief.
