Mrs. Godfrey was born May 15, 1879, in Watervliet, and had been a life-long resident of this area. She and her husband had operated a stall on the Benton Harbor fruit market for many years.
Survivors include a brother, ?uel Beaman of Pontotoc, Miss.; two daughters, Mrs. Bernie Klemm and Mrs. Myrtle Hemstreet, both of Benton Harbor; 14 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm. Friday in the Frost funeral home. The Rev. James Moores will officiate.
Burial will be in the Coloma cemetery.
