For many years she traveled back and forth from Oregon to Washington. She moved to Florence in 1978 and lived here for the past 18 years.
She loved being outdoors with animals, especially horses, and loved plants and flowers.
She is survived by three daughters, Evelyn Wood, Eileen Gagnon and Vivian Stringer, and her son, Glenn Losey, all of Florence; 24 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hal W. Losey; her son Clyde "Bud" Losey, her grandson, Raymond Wood, her grandaughter, Peggy Sue Wood, and her great grandson, Steven Wood.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, Jan. 20, at
2 p.m. at the Pacific Sunset Cemetery.
Dunes Memorial Chapel in Reedsport is in charge of arrangements.
