Funeral services for the late Mrs. Wilhelmina Berth were conducted Tuesday from the home of her son, William Berth, east of Johnsonville. The Rev. Mr. Vriesen officiated and interment was made in the Johnsonville Cemetery. Mrs. Berth was born in Robstedt, Ubermark, Germany, February 5, 1830 and had attained the advanced age of ninety years. She was married in Germany and came to America and Sheboygan County in 1854. She resided in the northern part of the county the greater part of the time. Mrs. Berth passed away Saturday at the home of her son, William. Mr. Berth preceded her in death in 1901.
The survivors are three daughters; Mrs. Jacob Bub and Mrs. August Alten, Plymouth, and Mrs. Herman Karstaedt, town of Herman; five sons; William Berth, Carl Berth of Plymouth; Frank of the town of Herman; Julius of Kiel and Fred of Sheboygan Falls; thirty seven grandchildren, forty-four great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
