She was born June 13, 1936 in Monroe County, KY to the late Walter Ford and Bertha Rich Ford. She was a retired laundry worker for Monroe County Medical Center, a member of Mt. Poland Baptist Church and the widow of George "Pete" Ford.
She is survived by two nieces Vickie Cross and Jo Ann Crowe both of Tompkinsville, two great nieces: Cathy Vannatten of Glasgow, Stacy Crowe of Cookeville, TN.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two brothers: Frank Ford and Paul Ford, one sister: Irene Bartley and a niece Dana Lynn Bartley.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, March 12 at 11:00 AM at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with burial to follow in the Mt. Poland Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 4:30 PM on Sunday at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville.
Memorials are suggested to the Mt. Poland Cemetery.
