Jack William Barnes, 75, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away March 7, 2012, at North Kansas City Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, March 12, 2012 at Maple Hill Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 11, 2012 from 5-8 p.m., at the funeral home. Jack was born June 14, 1936 to Leo and Norine Barnes. He is preceded in death by his wife, Marlene Sue Barnes; and a brother, Jerry Barnes. Survivors include 3 sons: Greg, Karl, and Paul Barnes; daughter, Michele Mendenhall; sister, Maryann Buckley; and 8 grandchildren.
