Obituary: OPAL ENGEMAN MOSS, 64. Mrs. Opal Engeman Taylor, 64, St. Jo, died November 22, at a St. Joe hospital.
Mrs. Taylor, a native of Skidmore, Mo., lived in Wathena most of her life. She moved to St. Jo 14 years ago. She was a member of South Park United Methodist Church, St. Jo, and Rebekah Lodge 270, Wathena. Mrs. Taylor had been employed by Noma Lites, St. Jo, for 16 years.
Survivors include her husband, Charles F. Taylor, of the home; four daughters, Mrs. June Mills, Wellsville, Mrs. Shirley Fuqua, St. Jo, Mrs. Beulah Smith, Lebo, Mrs. Peggy Gnegy, Kansas City, Mo.; one step-daughter, Mrs. Ginger Rowland, Orlando, Fla.; one step-son, Terry Taylor, Alaska; one sister, Mrs. Annie Williams, Lafayette, Colo.; three brothers, Raymond Moss, Elwood, and Harold and Robert Moss, Wathena, 13 grandchildren, one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held Friday afternoon at South Park United Methodist Church, St. Jo, Rev. Ron Clayton officiated. Burial was in Bellemont Cemetery, Wathena. Grave side services were conducted by the Rebekah Lodge.
Pallbearers were Don Meyer, Andrew Swope, Billy G. Smith, Lonnie Smith, Jim Mills, and Don Samuels.
