Claude C. Batchelor, 80, died Tuesday, March 12, in Van Buren, Ark.
Mr. Batchelor was born July 15, 1904, in Wellington. He moved from here in 1945, when he began work for Kerr-McGee Oil Co., in Oklahoma City. Upon his retirement from that company, he moved to Van Buren.
He was a member of Siloan Masonic Lodge in Oklahoma City and of the Arkansas Sheriff's Association. He was a Baptist.
Survivors are his wife, Evelyn Batchelor of Van Buren, two sons,
Bob Batchelor of Amarillo and James Batchelor of Tulsa, Okla.,
one daughter, Betty Burg of Amarillo and three grandchildren.
