Faye Smith Frisby, 63, of Strong, passed away Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011, at the John R. Williamson Hospice House in El Dorado. Born March 20, 1948, in Greenville, AL, she was the daughter of Lonnie Carl Smith and Lucille Campbell Smith. She loved her family and enjoyed music, fishing and cooking. Preceding her in death are her parents; five brothers, Thomas Carl Smith, Luther Charles Smith, James "Jim" William Smith, Billy Almond Smith and Marvin "Buddy" Edward Smith; five sisters, Inez Grubbs, Sylvia Joyce Kelsoe, Emma Sue Smith, Lillian Louise Etheridge and Myra Nell Thomas; a grandson, Jacob Jordan Frisby and her step-father, Gordon Skipper. Survivors include her husband, Jessie Dwight Frisby; two sons, Eric Wayne Frisby (Shannon), of El Dorado, Timothy Dwight Frisby, of North Dakota; four sisters, Evie Pearl Korhler (James), of Arvada, CO, Lucille Stinson (Charlie), of Elkhart, TX, Teresa Hartin (Galous Jr.), of Giana, AL, and Dianne Hitson, of McKenzie AL; four grandchildren, Jesse Alexander Frisby, Eric Drake Frisby, Kimberly Michelle Shirey (Chris), Candace Camille Cates (Cole) and great-grandchild, Christian Reid Cates. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Green Grove Assembly of God under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors with the Rev. Mack Ables officiating.
