Earl E. Conklin, 50, of Sycamore R. D. 1, was dead on arrival at 7:20 a.m. Thursday, September 28, 1972 in the Greene County Memorial Hospital after suffering a heart attack.

Born January 16, 1922 in Center Township, he was the son of Mrs. Fannie Breese Conklin of Sycamore R. D. 1 and the late Floyd R. Conklin. He was married to the former Maggie Belle Hartzell, who survives.

Mr. Conklin was a 1941 graduate of Center Township High School and later served his country in World War II. He was employed by the maintenance department of Waynesburg College and was also a farmer in Morris Township.

Mr. Conkliln was a member of the Hopewell United Methodist Church and served that church as both treasurer and Sunday School superintendant.

Surviving, in addition to his mother and wife, are a son, David Conklin, of Sycamore R. D. 1; a step-daughter, Miss Belinda Rush, of Sycamore R. D. 1; and two brothers, Ralph O. Conklin, of New Freeport, and Kenneth H. Conklin, of Accident, Md.
