Parvin Howell Rites Tuesday
Last rites will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. for Parvin Howell, well known Jefferson county resident who died Saturday at the Jefferson County Hospital after a lengthy illness.

The services tomorrow will be at the Glasgow Methodist church with the Rev. Max Volkmann in charge. Burial will be in the Glasgow Cemetery.

The body will be taken from the Raymond funeral home to the church at Glasgow at 11 a.m. the day of the services.
Parvin D. Howell, 80, was born and lived his entire life on the farm near Glasgow.

He was born Sept. 26,1882 at the Howell farm home near Glasgow the son of Albert and Drusilla Gregory Howell. He was reared and educated in the Glasgow community and attended Glasgow school.

On Feb. 11, 1911, he was united in marriage to Helen Thompson who survives. He lived his entire life on the home farm.
In addition to his wife Howell is survived by the following children: Mrs Kenneth Metz, Fairfield; Mrs Keneth Newell, Des Moines; George Howell Lousiville, KY; Mrs Pete Crafton, Fairfield; and Mrs Leo Zumdome, Ft. Madison; and Thomas Howell, Lockridge. 12 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
