Services for Mrs. S.M. Davis were held in the First Methodist Church in Putnam. She lived in Alabama for a number of years moving to Denison County, Texas where she lived until moving to Putnam. In 1931, she moved to the home of her son who was a Texas and Pacific railway operator of Roscoe. Survivors include one son; seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son.
