Lisa Helen Sparks Smith (37) was born Jun 19, 1974 and died Feb. 26, 2012 the daughter of Nancy Lou Browne and her birth father was Kevin Sparkes, although he was not a part of her life. In 1993 Lisa graduated from Cambridge H.S. in Cambridge, OH.
She married on Nov. 19,1992 in North Salem, OH at the North Salem Community Church to Ronald Kinley Smith, son of Gordon Lee Smith and Brenda Joyce Brown. (Lisa and Ronald had no children).
Lisa gave her heart to the Lord in 1992. In 2006 she was hospitalized for heart surgery. Her faith sustained her through her health issues. In Feb. 2012 Lisa was hospitalized and had a couple of weeks of nursing home care before returning to her home. She died enroot to the hospital from lung and breathing complications.
She was preceded in death by her loving grandparents, Florence Luella Childs (1918-1993) and David Edwin Browne (1921-1988), who supported their daughter, Nancy Lou Browne, in the raising of Lisa. She loved kittens and cared for many of them in her home.
She is survived by her husband Ron Smith. Her mother, Nancy Lou Browne and aunts, Patricia May Browne and Marilyn Sue (Browne) Poyet, plus a dearest niece and cousins.
Funeral service Friday March 2, 2012 at 12:00 pm at the Bican Bros. Funeral Home 9810 Denison Ave. where family will receive friends prior to service from 10:00am - 12:00 pm. Interment Crown Hill Cemetery. Her mother, Nancy Browne is buried at the same plot Section 35, Lot 367, Grave 2.
