Age 75. Virginia is at rest on April 2, 2004. Born in Batesville, Arkansas on May 2, 1928. Resided in Elwood, IL for 39 years. Living at her daughter Mary's home for the last year. Suffered many things over the past several years, but all over now. What a wonderful home coming day this is for Virginia. To be with Jesus is worth it all.
Jenny is survived by one daughter Mary (Allen) Pehlke, one son Bobby (Wanda) Metcalf, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, her siblings, Wilma Rarick, Jean Morgan, Betty Hulsey, H.L. Brooks, all of Judsonia, AR, Ann Crawford of Nappanee, IN, and Gary Brooks of Wilmington, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents Hanford and Lela (nee Warren) Brooks, her husband of 40 years B.J. Metcalf, and one daughter Lila Dale Metcalf in December 2002.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday April 6, 2004 at Westwood Memorial Chapel, 3201 W. Jefferson St. at 10:00 am with Pastor D.L. Morris officiating. Interment at Maple Hill Cemetery in Elwood. Visitation will be Monday from 4-8 pm. For additional information:
