Deridra "Dee" Kaye DeSoto, 39, an assistant schoolteacher at Oakhurst Elementary, went to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, March 15, 2004.
Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Monday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home.
Dee was born Aug. 2, 1964, in Denton. She and her son, Cole, both passed away from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Ellis George DeSoto.
Survivors: Husband, Rodney DeSoto; daughter, Emili Kaye Bybee, both of Fort Worth; mother, Marion and Jimmie Dunn; father, David and Margie Aaron; brother, John Goin; sister, Kim Barksdale; mother-in-law, Iris Jane DeSoto; sister-in-law, Jessica Jane DeSoto; many relatives and numerous friends.
