Scott E. George was born July 17, 1913 in Stephenville, Texas. He worked for many years as a pharmacist at Caniel's Central Avenue Pharmacy, and opened and owned his own pharmacy "George Pharmacy" in 1950 and operated it until 1976. George Pharmacy was a well known meeting place and fixture on the North Side. Mr. George was a member of the North Fort Worth Baptist Church, he was highly respected and served as a deacon, he was active in Sunday School and the Troop 20 Boy Scouts. At his death he was survived by his wife Kathleen George, his son Scott George his daughter Carolyn Vaughn, his sister Lorene Fraley, numerous grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
