Marie L . Alaksiewicz , 73, of St. Joseph's Home, formerly of Chicago and the mother of a Peoria man, died at 2:45 p.m. Thursday,
Oct. 24, 1991, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
Born March 19, 1918, in Chicago to Michael and Marie Hedwig Gabrysiak, she married Bruno A. Alaksiewicz on May 1, 1937, in Chicago. He died Nov. 23, 1968, in Chicago. Two brothers and one grandson also preceded her in death.
Surviving are one son, Francis of Peoria; and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Holy Family Catholic Church, the Rev. William Callahan officiating. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Resurrection Cemetery, Chicago. Woolsey- Wilton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
