THE PARIS NEWS, Feb. 24, 2012, page A3. - Vincent LeRoy Lind III, 49, of Paris, went to be with the Lord in Heaven on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2012, at home with his family following a short battle with cancer. The family is to receive friends from 2:30-4:30 p.m. on Sunday with a memorial sharing at New Life Tabernacle Church, at the corner of 311 E. Houston St. and 3rd St. N.E. Cremation was under the direction of Bright-Holland Funeral Home.

Vincent was born Oct. 28, 1962, in El Paso, the son of Vincent LeRoy Lind Jr. and Alberta Lee (Marshall) Dover. He went to Bonham High School and moved to Paris in 1995. He loved NASCAR, sports and his dogs, Charm, Declan and Jillian.
Vincent was loved by many and will be missed deeply.

He was preceded in death by his father, Vincent LeRoy Lind Jr.; grandparents James C. and Olive Mae (Hughes) Marshall and Vincent LeRoy Lind, Sr. and Edna Lind.

Surviving are his mother, Alberta Lee Dover; sisters, Gretchen Lind of Rochester, Ind.; Cynthia Hughes of Maryville, Tenn.; Wendy Lyons and husband, Danny, of Dallas; Na'Tosha Bard and husband, Levi, of Copenhagen, Denmark; brother, Roger Moore of Nebraska; five nieces, DeLisa Kelley and husband, Patrick, Jenny Clay and husband, Drew, and Tristan Webb, all of Indiana, in addition to Kristina Pappas and Rebecca Straughan, both of Dallas; four nephews, John Eric Straughan of Dallas and Patrick Lee Ross of Nebraska, William Hughes of San Marcus and Mike Hughes of Maryville, Tenn.; along with several great-nieces and nephews and a host of lifelong friends.
