Edward Walton "Walt" Altman, 42, died Wednesday, August 6, 2003 at Hospice Savannah, Inc. The native and lifelong resident of Savannah was a truck driver for Coastal Transport.
He was preceded in death by his parents Monroe and Lillian Altman.
Surviving are his sister, and brother-in-law, Kathleen and Milo Tomecek of Raleigh, NC; brother and sister-in-law, Stephen and Tammy Altman of Savannah; three nieces, Elizabeth and Amber Tomecek of Raleigh, NC, and Erica Altman of Savannah; two nephews, Justin Tomecek of Raleigh, NC and Stephen Altman of Savannah; a long time companion, Ms. Sandra Hardy of Savannah. Visitation: 1:00-2:30 p.m. Monday, August 11, 2003 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel. Graveside Service: 3:00 p.m. Monday in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
