Margie Althea Cantwell, 79, of Mount Pleasant died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2011, at her home, following a brief illness.
Born Oct., 27, 1931, in Hancock County, Ill., she was the daughter of Darrell Ross and Donna Pearl Thomas. On March 15, 1964, she married Jack Cantwell in Monmouth, Ill.
Mrs. Cantwell worked as a supervisor for Motorola, retiring after 23 years in 1997. She enjoyed watching motorcycle racing.
Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Traina Lindsey of Mount Pleasant; one stepdaughter, Kimberly Modak of Palm Bay, Fla.; one stepson, Kurt Cantwell of Mojave, Calif.; and one grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one brother.
No visitation or services are planned. The body has been cremated.
