Cierra was a first grade student at Wallace Elementary School. She was active with the Greater York Center for Dance Education, where she took ballet and tap dance lessons; Girl Scouts of America, Brownie Troop 355 Shiloh UCC; she loved painting ceramics and making jewelry for her family and friends. Cierra was a true "girly girl" and played with glitter, dress up, Barbie dolls and would be found paling around with her cat, "Posey", and her bunny, "Marshmallow." In June, 1999, Cierra was diagnosed with stage IV neuroblastoma. During her 5 year struggle with cancer, Cierra never gave up and always continued to fight the cancer.
