Starr played for the Ottawa Senators from 1929 to 1931, and 1932 to 1933, Montreal Maroons from 1931 to 1932, Montreal Canadiens from 1932 to 1933, Windsor Bulldogs from 1933 to 1934, Detroit Red Wings from 1934 to 1935, New York Rangers from 1934 to 1936, and the Cleveland Falcons from 1935 to 1936.
