MAE ELIZABETH OSWALD, 64 of 81 South Main Street, Smithsburg, Maryland, died Saturday, March 4, 2006 at University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland.

Born April 15, 1941 in Franklin County, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd M. Wilson, Sr. and Harriette A. Adams Wilson.

She was co-owner of Oswald Nurseries, Inc. in Smithsburg, Maryland.

She was of Christian faith.

She is survived by her husband, Lester Oswald; one daughter, Lori A. Webb of Greencastle, Pennsylvania; one son, Lester "Ed" Oswald of Smithsburg, Maryland; three sisters, Norlene G. Reed and Debra L. Summers both of Williamsport, Maryland and Evelyn M. Moats of Falling Waters, West Virginia; four brothers, Lloyd M. Wilson, Jr., Ronald E. Wilson, Edward C. Wilson and John W. Wilson all of Williamsport, Maryland; four grandchildren, Meloney N. Oswald, Gregory E. Oswald, Maxwell H. Webb and Madison L. Webb; two great grandchildren Trevor M. Ingram and Kaven R. Oswald.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown, Maryland. The Rev. Fred M. Harris will officiate. Burial will be in Smithsburg Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday at the funeral from 7 to 9 p.m.
