BLANCE, Roy Samuel Joseph WW11 Veteran, former employee of Ontario Hydro, Des Joachims. Peacefully at Queensway Carleton Hospital, Ottawa on Wednesday, March 30th, 2005 Roy Blance in his 91st year. Formerly of Rolphton and Perth. Predeceased by Margaret, his beloved wife of 52 years. Cherished dad of Paula and dear father-in-law of Tony of Stittsville. Very proud grandfather of Tawny, of Guelph and Laurel, of Ottawa. Brother-in-law Gordon McMillan of Perth and Jean Hopkins of Nipawin, Sask. Loving uncle to the Blance and McMillan families. Predeceased by three brothers Jack, Bob and George and his sister Florence Johnston. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Perth on Saturday, April 2nd, 2005 from 1 to 2:30 P.M. Funeral service will follow in the Chapel at 3:00 P.M. In remembrance, contributions to the charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated. Please take a moment to remember Roy with warmth in your heart and a smile on your lips. He was passionate about fishing, golfing, gardening and above all else, his family. He inspired us in life and will continue to do so. Royal Canadian Legion, Branch # 244 will hold a Veterans Service of Remembrance, Saturday at 2:30 P.M.
