Reseda, Calif. - Nina Harper Stokes, 66, passed away Monday, Sept. 11, 2006. A graveside funeral service will be conducted Friday at 11:30 a.m. at Pinewood Memorial Park. A native of Pitt County, N.C., Mrs. Stokes was the daughter of the late Clarence and Belle Harper. She was a member of the Salvation Army Church. For the past eight years she had resided in the Los Angeles area. She is survived by her son, Greg Stokes and his wife, Susan, of Cary, N.C.; twin granddaughters, Ashley and Kayla Stokes of Cary, N.C.; and two sisters, Francis Ashley and Delores Faulkner, both of Greenville, N.C. The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home From 10 a.m. until the funeral hours.
