Marvin Wayne Bagwell - Born May 29, 1941 in Atlanta, GA and resident of Silverhill, AL, passed away at his home with friends and family February 12, 2012. Wayne was a Boy Scout and served in the United States Army. He was an engineer for Shell Oil Company and later owned B&R General Contractors.Wayne touched many lives with his passionate views and zest for life; he will be deeply missed. He loved his family, his dog Abbey, cooking and gardening. Wayne is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 51 years, Charlene and their three daughters, Karen Pierce, Atlanta, GA, Kim Blitch (Robert), Lexington, KY and Kathy Wooley (Dane), Atlanta, GA; a very special nephew, Todd Bagwell (Lora), Merryville, TN; nine grandchildren, Allie O'Kane (Jim), Zachary Pierce, Max Pierce, William Blitch, Caroline Blitch, Bennett Blitch, Emma Blitch, Jude Wooley and Lydia Wooley; two special great-nephews, Steven Bagwell and Luke Bagwell and his brother Vernon Bagwell, Atlanta, GA. He was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Jack Pierce and his brother, James Berry Bagwell, Jr. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held February 17, 2012 at 2:00 from Pine Rest Funeral Home, Foley, AL.
