Obituary for Everett “Mike” Taylor

Everett Michael “Mike” Taylor, 61, died Friday, Sept. 18, 2009, from a heart ailment.

His body has been cremated. A service will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday Sept. 23, at a cabin in Saunders Park.

A memorial has been established for Mr. Taylor’s granddaughters’ education. Condolences may be sent to 1684 Lexington Ave., Mt Pleasant.

He was born June 25, 1948, in Mt Pleasant, the son of Everett and Doris Swailes Taylor.

A 1966 graduate of Mt Pleasant High School and a graduate of Universal Trade School in Omaha, Neb. He worked at Batey Ltd. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his parents; two sons, Chad Taylor and Clint Taylor and wife Kelly, all of Salt Lake City, Utah.; four grandchildren; two sisters, Diana Weigert of New London and Norma Mineart of Fairfield; and a brother, Richard Taylor of Mt Pleasant.

His grandparents preceded him in death.
