TRINITY – Services for Billy Elzie Hogg, 75, were held 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, 2011 at the First Presbyterian Church in Livingston with the Rev. Joe MacDonald officiating. Burial followed in the Glendale Cemetery in Trinity County. Mr. Hogg died in a truck accident on Tuesday, Sept. 13, in Trinity County. He was born June 26, 1936 in Livingston and was in the transportation business. He had driven a truck for more than 55 years and had more than four million miles of safe driving on his record. Mr. Hogg was a man of great faith and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church where he volunteered many hours.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Florence Hogg.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Jo Ann Hogg; a daughter and her spouse, Elizabeth Anne and Phillip McKenna of Willis; a son, Wayne Hogg of Livingston; his mother-n-law, Gladys Stokley of Livingston; a sister, Jeannie Sorley of Alief; grandchildren, Kristen and Brian Loveday of College Station, Karla McKenna, Kelsi McKenna and Kayla McKenna, all of Willis, Kasey and Isaia of Ft. Meade, MD, Phillip McKenna Jr. of Conroe, Wayne Hogg Jr. of Splendora and Kassie Hogg of Livingston; great-grandchildren, Klayton, Kaileigh, Bryce, Blake, Christopher and Kyla; special cousins and their spouses, Minnie and Gary Wilson of Onalaska, William and Sharon Hodge of Onalaska, Doyle and Virginia Hodge of Leggett and Elton and Debra Hodge of Corrigan; and a number of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers included Calvin Hogg, Bill Anderson, Tim Anderson, Donald Sorley, Phillip McKenna Jr., Wayne Hogg Jr. and Calvin Hogg.

Waller-Thornton Funeral Home of Trinity directed the arrangements.
