Daughter of William and Lillian Narbert Kieser. Married Robert James Mills II in October 1937. He died in 1949 and she married William E. O'Brien March 14, 1953. She had one daughter, Jeannine Mlynski and two sons, Robert Mills, Kevin O'Brien and two stepsons,Thomas O'Brien and the late Walt O'Brien. Dorothy was a very determined, strong and unstoppable woman with a positive outlook on life. She was the first woman franchisee of McDonalds Restaurant and she and her husband Bill opened the first McDonalds in Iowa City, Iowa.
