ANDERSON - Gust W. 82, of 32 Harmony Dr in Conemaugh, formerly of St.Benedict, died April 17, 1978 at Miners Hospital in Spangler. Born Aug 28, 1895 in Patton, son of Gottfrid & Justina (Colberg) Anderson. Preceded in death by his parents, his brother, George and his wife, the former Wilma Ahlstrom. Survived by daughters, Mary, wife of James Schamber of Park Forest, IL and Karen, wife of Morgan Stickler of Conemaugh; five grandchildren. He is brother of Carl; Amanda, wife of Gust Josephson; and Ellen, wife of Russell Diethrick, all of Jamestown, NY; Richard of Redwood City, CA; and Evelyn, wife of H.L.Taylor; Ester, wife of Philip Strong, both of Sun City, AZ. Member of Local 2008, WMWA. Charter member of Patton Post, American Legion. Veteran of WWI. Member of Patton Lutheran-Episcopal Congregation. Friends will be received at Long Funeral Home in Barnesboro where services will be held, the Rev.Robert Coval, officiating. Interment at Fairview Cemetery in Patton.
