Frances Fay Fiedler, age 37, Osseo, Wis., died at Frances Newton hospital, Ferozepore, India, Monday, June 19, 1967, and was buried in the English cemetery there.
She was born August 7, 1929, in Prescott. In 1941 she moved with her parents to Osseo. After graduation from Osseo high school she received a bachelor's degree of science in Nursing from the University in Minneapolis, Minn., in 1952. She nursed in Minneapolis, Sacremento and San Francisco prior to receiving a master's degree from the University of California in 1964. She had been a nursing instructor at the University of Wisconsin before her departure for India in 1966. She taught there at the Frances Newton Presbyterian hospital, Ferozepore, Punjab, until her death.
She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Fiedler of Osseo, and two brothers, Bruce of Milwaukee, and Ross of Seattle Wash.; and by eight nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held at the United Church of Christ in Osseo on Saturday afternoon.
