Mrs. H. G. Fiedler Buried Last Friday
Funeral services were held for Mrs. Herman Fiedler, January 2 at the First Congregational church. Rev. E. W. Savage, Pastor Emeritus delivered the sermon with Rev. Robert Thoma assisting in the service.
Mrs. Herman Fiedler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Issac Bracken (it was later spelled Brackin) was born in River Falls Township on the sixteenth day of June, 1868. A life long resident of this area she was united in marriage with Herman G. Fiedler in July of 1893, living in Clifton Township until 1914 when they became residents of Prescott. Mrs. Fiedler was preceded in death by her husband after sixty years of weded life. She died on December 30, 1958 and is survived by one daughter, Miss Florence Fiedler; a son, Mr. Lester Fiedler; three grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Mrs. Fiedler has long been an active member in the First Congregational church and its various organizations and was a member of the Eastern Star.
