Mrs. Peter Fiedler Funeral Last Friday

Prescott - Mrs. Peter Fiedler (Ann Elizabeth) Fiedler, 85, of Prescott, passed away June 24, 1967 at St. John's Hospital in Red Wing following an illness of three weeks. Born June 9, 1882, in Ellsworth township, she was the daughter of George and Minnie Gotzman. She was united in marriage to Peter Fiedler on January 5, 1910. Following their marriage, the Fiedlers made their home on a farm in Oak Grove township for 33 years. They retired and moved to Prescott 24 years ago. They observed their golden wedding anniversary in 1960 and Mr. Fiedler passed away August 29, 1961.

Surviving are there three children, Leon of Prescott, Mrs. Kermit (Doris) Larson of Ellsworth and Mrs. Roy (Violet) Peterson of Springfield, Ill.; seven grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Frank (Elsie) Schulte of Ellsworth, Mrs. Dora Kiechler of Prescott, Mrs. Andrew Bristol of Balsam Lake and Mrs. Ed (Violet) Langbein of Ellsworth; and two brothers, Frank and Arthur Gotzman of Ellsworth.

Funeral services for Mrs. Fiedler were held Friday afternoon at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Prescott with the Rev. Stephen Valleskey officiating. Interment was in the Pine Glen Cemetery at Prescott.
