Virginia Mae Bruce
Born on September 14, 1928 in Osage City, KS to John and Stella Milano. She came to California in 1946 and has lived in Cotati since 1952. Virginia died peacefully in her sleep on January 27, 2012 at the age of 83. She was an elementary school teacher for the Cotati, Rohnert Park School District for 27 years and was involved in the Robler 4-H Club for 14 years. Virginia enjoyed sewing, traveling, gardening and most of all spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Linda Bruce; two brothers, John Cushman Milano and David Milano; and sister, Bette Koepke. Virginia is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Frank Bruce; two daughters, Linda Dianne (Steve) Hill and Laurie Jane (Jim) Reed; three sons, Louie Miles Bruce, John David (Teri) Bruce and Matthew Brian Bruce; two sisters, Barbara (Charles) Seevers and Sue Ossinger; brother, Mike (Pam) Milano; two sister-in-laws, Irene Milano and Bunny Milano; and 11 grandchildren and five great-granchildren. Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 3, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at PLEASANT HILLS MEMORIAL PARK & MORTUARY, 1700 Pleasant Hill Road, Sebastopol. CHEDA & LYONS - Directors (707) 823-5042
